Getting around the Centre-Val de Loire region is easy with RÉMI

RÉMI is the public transport network responsible for passenger services outside urban areas in Centre-Val de Loire.

Whether you’re here to share the excitement of the Paris 2024 Games or simply want to explore the wonderful landscapes, historic towns and architecture, wine and gastronomy of the Loire Valley – everything you need to plan your travel is on this page.

Château de Chambord and other stunning castles dot this stretch of the Loire Valley, which is listed a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Centre-Val de Loire, a stone’s throw from Paris

Our part of the Loire Valley is next door to Ile-de-France and only an hour away from Paris and its international airports, Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Orly.

The Paris 2024 Olympics and Paralympics Shooting events will be held in Châteauroux in Centre-Val de Loire.

A joined-up transport network

Intercity trains run on 3 lines known as RÉMI Express:

  • Paris-Orleans-Tours
  • Paris-Bourges-Montluçon
  • Paris-Montargis-Nevers

Travel times are approx. 1hr 10mins Orleans -> Paris and 1hr 20mins Tours -> Paris (by TGV).

Ordinary local RÉMI trains run within the region, and there’s a network of RÉMI coaches serving smaller destinations.
